Welcome to Burlington, Vermont!

Ready to ride?

That’s what our eBikes are for – a cruise on what is now known as our Bikeway!

This eBike rents for $.50 a minute from the time it is unlocked at the rack at College St. until it is returned there.  This eBike cannot be left anywhere else.

Although you can pause the ride briefly for a quick stop and thereby lock the eBike up, the time charge at $.50 a minute will continue.  So make your pause short.

The trip out to the Cut in the Causeway 10 miles north of downtown takes about two hours and costs about $60.  Shorter distances cost less.

Most of our eBike batteries will be at a 100% charge when you rent them.  You can check the battery level on the display.  The rate of discharge depends upon how much power you are demanding, the weight of the rider, wind and temperature.  For longer rides we suggest you check the battery level on the way out to the Causeway and turn back before you get to a 50% charge.  You can still pedal the eBike back if you run out of power.  It's just more difficult.

EBikes not returned to the rack at College Street will incur a $200 retrieval fee.  Make sure to return to this app and swipe the power button to the right after the eBike is locked to the rack to end the ride.

When you are done with your ride please visit our gift shop only three blocks from our waterfront rack at 86 Main Street for a unique selection of Vermont t-shirts, hoodies, apparel, cards and photos concentrating on Burlington, Vermont, Lake Champlain, the waterfront, the Bike Path and

the Causeway.

The Burlington Bike Path

The Burlington Bike Path is the crown jewel of the Queen City – a seven-mile pedestrian/bike path along the shore of Lake Champlain with spectacular views of the lake and the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. The extension of the Burlington Bike Path out onto the railroad Causeway as the Island Line Trail in 2004 made this a truly world class experience – a must see while you are in Burlington.
